Central
Florida Real Estate Communities
These
are the communities of Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna and Edgewater.
There is a map at the bottom of this page showing locations. Ponce
Inlet is north of New Smyrna Beach and further south is Edgewater.
Ponce Inlet is only on the Beach side, the southern tip of the
Daytona Beach Peninsula. New Smyrna is located on both the mainland
side and the beach side. Edgewater the furthest south is only
on the mainland.
Ponce
Inlet
Ponce
Inlet is a small village of upscale homes nestled at the tip of
the barrier peninsula at the inlet location. Restaurants and marinas
are tucked away among the mangrove stands as are grand estates
and more modest beach home retreats. Resort style complexes are
available with dockage; golf and choices of homes from condominiums,
to villas or custom built estate homes.
For
boaters who fish the Big Blue, access out the inlet channel is
convenient and the area marinas offer accommodations from dry
storage to year round dockage.
A
popular location for boaters is “disappearing island”
. This is a huge sand bar located directly across from Inlet Harbor
Restaurant. During low tide boaters anchor and play. Dogs run
the sand and children build sand castles while the music of Reggae
Bands float across the water and entertain the sun worshipers
for free!

New
Smyrna Beach
New
Smyrna Beach Florida is still that quaint small town you’ve
been looking for. This art colony and fishing village is located
on Florida’s central east coast on the south side of Ponce
Inlet .
Local artisans display their wares in boutiques along Flagler
(the beachside “main” street) and Canal Street (the
mainland- “downtown”) year round and numerous times
through out the year there are art festivals in the parks that
are great fun.
The beauty of New Smyrna is everywhere, whether you wish to stroll
leisurely and shop or drive the 13 mile coastline of white sugar
sand beach…on the beach, you are sure to take in some beautiful
sites. Local beach architecture from historic homes that have
withstood the tests of time to new condominium communities offering
boat docks, tennis courts, golf and a resort style lifestyle.
NSB Offers a slower pace but still has yet plenty for you to do,
on your schedule. You’ll
be
amazed at the variety of area restaurants from fresh and wonderful
fish camp fare at JB’s to elegant dining dockside next to

Edgewater
When
you visit the Edgewater official city web site, you’ll realize
that life in Edgewater revolves around the family. From Easter
Egg hunts in the park ; All American Kids Fishing Derbys down
at the river’s edge and 4th of July Fireworks over the river,
the city parks and recreation department is all about family fun.
A modest community of modestly priced homes, you’ll find
Edgewater Florida to be the perfect place to raise a family. One
of Volusia County’s best home values is a development named
Florida Shores. Tree named streets laid out in alphabetical order
make navigation a breeze and with easy access to I-95, Edgewater
is only minutes away from Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach or even Orlando.
